PROJECT
Restructuring the National Teaching Program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Child and adolescent psychiatry (CAP) struggles to attract trainees and lacks visibility: only 1 in 3 of France’s 3,200 psychiatry residents chooses to specialize in it, even as demand for care rises sharply.
Tracer la Voix is an organization dedicated to promoting, developing and passing on knowledge in CAP. It aims to overhaul national CAP training and build a curriculum that meets residents’ needs, grounded in up-to-date practical knowledge and common national standards.
By modernizing teaching methods and making content more consistent across the country, the project aims to harmonize professional practice.
The goal is to build a shared culture within the discipline, make it more attractive to future practitioners, and give the specialty the means to meet the challenges of child and adolescent mental health.
