The Asterya center for children and youth
Children in the care of Child Welfare Services (ASE, Aide Sociale à l’Enfance) are particularly vulnerable to mental health disorders. Nevertheless, their care remains inadequate in terms of physical, psychological, and psychiatric support.
Founded by Céline Gréco, IM’PACTES has opened, in partnership with the Erié Foundation, the first health center entirely dedicated to children and youth in the care of ASE. Located in Paris’s 12th arrondissement and affiliated with the Necker Hospital, the Asterya Center provides a day-hospital model, with the goal of providing comprehensive care that fully integrates mental health.
Since November 2025, the center has served young people aged 0 to 25 across 26 treatment rooms, a psychomotor therapy room, and an art therapy room. Eventually, the center expects to support 2,000 individuals and conduct 5,200 assessments per year.
IM’PACTES is continuing its expansion with a second center in Bordeaux, opening in 2027, which will also receive support from the Erié Foundation.
