The Erie Foundation supports a wide range of partners who share the same aim: striving for impactful change within the field of mental health. Our aim is to support them in their strategy, organization, future development and synergies.

In 2024, the foundation organized its first “Rencontres,” a day bringing together project leaders and scientific experts from its network. The event was dedicated to dialogue and mutual understanding among stakeholders, with the goal of building bridges and cultivating a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in mental health.

In 2025, the foundation launched a new format, the Workshops, to strengthen the capacity for collective action among organizations working to improve the mental health of vulnerable women. This day of collaborative planning helped identify key findings, barriers, and solutions to address this issue, all documented in a summary booklet.

All our projects put forward solutions which address one or several of the four major challenges in mental health:

  • Facilitating access to care as early as possible
  • Changing and fostering innovation in therapeutic practices
  • Improving reintegration into mainstream society for people with mental illness
  • Changing the image of mental illness
