The SESAME project

The Montaigne Institute

Currently being developed in France’s Yvelines region near Paris, the SESAME project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of the collaborative care model, through the integration of mental health into general practice and the management of mental illness by GPs. This method offers an innovative approach that provides access to care for all, and a preventive approach that focuses on screening and early treatment.

Founded in 2000, the Montaigne Institute is an independent think tank focused on discussion, proposals and innovation in public policy in France.
