IDEAL

AP HP Foundation
Paris

The IDEAL (Institut des Pathologies du Développement de l’Enfant et de l’Adolescent) project, which will be relocated from la Pitié-Salpêtrière to a new facility at Hôpital Armand Trousseau, aims to bring about a significant paradigm shift in the treatment of developmental pathologies in children and adolescents. It seeks to raise awareness on the challenges in neuroscience and child and adolescent psychiatry at both the national and European levels. Humanizing the Department and modernizing the psychiatric field are two key challenges that the foundation aims to address, both in clinical practice and research.

This project is supported by the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of APHP (Assistance publique – Hôpitaux de Paris), the university hospital center for Paris and the Île-de-France area. It encompasses 38 hospitals and contributes to the advancement of biomedical research and the enhancement of healthcare organization.
