PROJECT
IDEAL
IDEAL (Institut des Pathologies du Développement de l’Enfant et de l’Adolescent) aims to bring about a paradigm shift in the treatment of developmental pathologies in children and adolescents. It seeks to raise awareness on the challenges in neuroscience and child and adolescent psychiatry on a national and European level. Its key objective is to modernize and humanize this field of psychiatry both in its clinical practice and its research. Currently based at the Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital, it will soon be relocating to a new facility at the Armand Trousseau Hospital.
The project is supported by the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of AP-HP (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris), the university hospital center for Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region. It encompasses 38 hospitals and contributes to the advancement of biomedical research and the improvement of this healthcare sector
