Pop&Psy Festival
Widespread misconceptions around mental health continue to hinder the understanding of mental disorders and delay access to care.
The Falret Foundation works to improve living conditions and social inclusion for vulnerable individuals and those with psychosocial disabilities, promoting their rights, recovery, and full participation in society.
Since 2022, the Erié Foundation has supported the Falret Foundation in developing the Pop&Psy. Free and open to all, the festival leverages pop culture to raise awareness, break down stereotypes, and combat the stigma surrounding mental illness. The program features panel discussions with experts and public figures, workshops hosted by community organizations, and cultural events.
The festival has experienced strong growth, drawing 3,500 attendees in 2025, 52% of whom were directly affected by a mental health condition. Crucially, 64% of attendees identified helpful resources for themselves or loved ones, while 74% of those not yet in treatment reported feeling more willing to seek care after attending.
